Yoga Outside the Classroom
The yoga presented here is a gentle stretch sequence. No part of this routine should cause you pain, fear, or stress.
Please take care of yourself, relax, and enjoy.
These videos will guide you through a combination of chair yoga and gentle poses, including sun salutations.
Before you begin
Place your yoga mat on the floor.
Use a sturdy chair, one without arms that might get in your way.
Place your chair with all four corners on your mat.
You might also have a yoga strap (or tie, long scarf, or towel) and a blanket handy.

Remember to let yourself relax quietly with your breath for a few minutes at the end. This allows you to soak up the benefits of yoga, physically as well as emotionally.

I want to tell you again thanks for the 10 minute audio! Peter faithfully does this 2 to 3 times a day and he is already noticing the benefits. We do it together in the morning and he always initiates it. I think he is feeling more confident and we are going to try the full gentle stretch soon.

I often practice this Sun Salutation sequence to welcome the new day. It takes about 15 minutes.
